Now, Ali wants to give back to the community that has given him so much.

While Canada's political and economic landscapes are dramatically changing, workers, seniors, young people, and our most vulnerable are being left behind.  Ali is passionate about amplifying their voices and ensuring no one is forgotten by the government. He is committed to doing his part to tackle unaffordable housing, the high cost of living, climate change, and widening inequality.  

Ali has been serving Canadians in the public service for over a decade. Throughout the years, he has held many roles, including Senior Analyst, Trade Officer, and Information Analyst at various departments including Global Affairs Canada, National Defence, and Transport Canada.  

As a part of his work for youth advocacy, Ali was proud to have represented Canadians at the G20 Youth Summit in Japan where he submitted a communique on the future of work, trade and innovation, and business development to the G20 leaders. Similarly, Ali participated in numerous summits including the United Nation’s Social Economic Sustainability Summit. 

Ali is ready to continue his advocacy by representing the people of Vaughan—Woodbridge in Ottawa. He is eager to fight for a government that uplifts the seniors who have already given so much to our country, that restores hope for the young people who have had the deck stacked against them for so long, and that makes life more affordable for every Canadian struggling to get by. 

An affordable, fair, and sustainable Canada is possible. Ali would be honoured to fight for it on behalf of his community.
